An inexpensive engine turning tool can be made using a 8mm bolt & nut. Screw the nut into the bolt until _approx_ 10mm in. Then screw the bolt (with nut on it) into the crankshaft (the nut stops bolt from being driven in too deep). Use a 13mm socket and ratchet to turn the engine.
